Summer Camp 2021
The Wakefield Conservation Commission is proud to sponsor Wakefield youth in attending summer camp in 2021. We have two programs available. The University of New Hampshire Barry Conservation Extension 4-H Camp and the University of Maine Tanglewood Cooperative Extension 4-H Camp. Here is the contact information for each camp:
Barry Camp:

Tanglewood and Blueberry Cove:

Go online and learn about what each camp offers. Some weeks and or specialties are available only to certain age groups. At the Tanglewood Camp, there are residential and day camps. The day camps do not include overnight attendance, so the parents are responsible for dropping off and picking up their child each day. Due to cost, the Wakefield Commission will not sponsor kids to attend a two-week program or the Teen Leader programs. The Barry Camp provides week-long specialty camps and shorter mini camps.

In our efforts to assure as many kids as possible have an opportunity to attend camp we will be allocating funds based on an equitable percentage per youth. If you are going to apply for a Conservation Commission sponsorship, do not register your child on your own. We only need your child’s full name, age, gender, and which camp and program week they wish to attend. This information has to be submitted to Donna V Ackerman at dvackerman@gmail.com no later than January 25th, 2021. Your percentage of the fee will be based upon how many youths we have signed up and the cost of each program. There are no restrictions as to how many of your children may attend camp.

* Adjustments and discounts will be applied during checkout if applicable. *
